The game started development in 2019 by Steel Wool, a small company that has around 20 employees (and one of them died in 2021, Hoffman, one of the people who made music for this game). The company was making VR games that were pretty small. FNAF VR was their first big game, and it worked cause it was a VR game.
Hell "The Batman" (A PG-13 super hero movie released in2021) had scenes in it that felt like a horror movie. Appeal to all audiences - The biggest flaw of this movie is its appeal to fans of the franchise. While this was an awesome thing for them to do for the fans, it comes at the cost of general audiences not liking the movie.
