10 posts · Joined 2022. #1 · Jul 19, 2022. Hello, I have a 2018 Duramax with 60k miles. It's currently at the dealership having it's 3rd DPF system installed. The 2nd was install almost exactly 12 months ago. For now the replacements have been covered under warranty but that will expire mid-2023.

It said they charge $200 for a stage 1 cleaning, & $400 if it needs a deeper cleaning. & if you have a GM DPF its another $400 (on top of the price of the cleaning) cause it has to be cut open & rewelded to clean the filter. 2009 GMC Sierra 2500HD SLE CC/SB 4x4 LMM.
First, I did the code to show the DPF filter % in the maintenance menu. I'm nearly certain it showed a percentage, like 76% or something the first time I looked at it. But now it has said 0% for 1500 or more miles. DEF gauge has gone down in that time so I'm sure it's doing it's regens just not showing properly on the new gauge.
