Limp mode is also known as “limp home mode”, and is designed to protect your engine and transmission from catastrophic failure.

Depending on system fitted, there will be both air distribution and air mixing flaps. Sometimes the plastic cogs or the spindles wear out.
BigJohnD (15 Apr 2020 : 08:10) , Markovsina (16 Apr 2020 : 06:55) Economy Mode won't prevent the car from starting. It's there to protect the battery when it's not 100%. As Gittos says, check the earthing and wiring. Thank you both. I have checked tphe wiring and there are no lose wires and the earth cables are tight.
