A mile or so into this journey, stopped at traffic lights, eco having stopped the engine, up comes the message and alarms, engine restarts, warning goes off, eco engine stops, message comes up along with alarm, engine restarts, message and alarms stop, traffic moves off, so do I, no more reoccurrence.
Geoff-DS4. 9 posts · Joined 2014. #23 · Jun 26, 2014. I have found that when the eco flashes if you dip the clutch with your foot on the brake (out of gear) the engine will stop. I think it may be a battery power related thing. if the battery is low the engine starts up.

Se inscreva no Canal thanks for the replies, ive charged the battery up now showing 12.6 volts and still same no ignition no mirrors unfolding just jumping straight into economy mode active. it was working perfectly day before this happened no signs of any problems and never had a problem before with the battery starting or any battery faults showing.

Depending on system fitted, there will be both air distribution and air mixing flaps. Sometimes the plastic cogs or the spindles wear out.
Re: Economy mode and start stop mode help. The battery may be nearing end of service life so may not be able to hold a full charge, which can be causing the economy mode to kick in more frequently. This can also be related to the Stop Start function. The Stop & Start system relies on many parameters being correct for it to operate.

As Gittos says, check the earthing and wiring. Thank you both. I have checked tphe wiring and there are no lose wires and the earth cables are tight.
